The Vermilion Oracle is a watchful object for the neck. Its slit pupil is held inside an engraved oval frame, somewhere between a keepsake, a warning, and a small ceremonial instrument.

Each Pupil Bureau object is a study in observation: made to be worn, but also to be kept, revisited, and noticed again.

Object: Locket necklace

Silver-tone metal hardware with a hand-finished resin gaze cabochon. Each eye is individually marbled, so tone, veins, and reflections will vary slightly from piece to piece.

Finish: Polished silver-tone hardware.

Sizing & Measurements

Chain length: approximately 50 cm. Oval locket: approximately 4.5 x 3.4 cm. The locket opens to hold a small paper image or note.
